Michele Livingston channels the other side in new book “Living in the Afterlife”

CAMP HILL, Pa.  — Sunbury Press has released Living in the Afterlife – Experiences from the Soul Place, medium Michele Livingston’s latest book.

lita_fcAbout the Book:
Have you, a family member or a friend ever wondered about what it’s like after we leave this earth?

Do you know someone who is fearful of death?

Have you recently lost a dear loved one, or a pet and wonder where they are or what they are doing?

Michele A. Livingston is a spiritual medium endorsed by World Renowned Evidential Medium, James Van Praagh who calls her aTrance Channel. Using these abilities for Living in the Afterlife: Experiences from the Soul Place, Michele was able to communicate with the souls of her departed relatives, clients, friends and other spirits bringing new insight and understanding of the Heavenly Realms. Not only what we experience at the time of our death, but what we may actually be doing when we finally make transition to the Other Side!

Through actual communication with these souls that are now in Heaven, Michele brings new insight and understanding about what happens after we die. And it may not be what you think or believe! There is as much to do there spiritually as there is to do physically here on earth. We can teach, study with ascended masters and experts from any discipline, help other souls make transition, guide people (souls) still on earth and even re-create our own favorite memories from our last lifetime. Or we can simply relax and do nothing!

The information Michele received came from a broad range of departed souls throughout history, including well know celebrities, suicide victims, soldiers, and more. Therefore, Michele was able to paint a picture of what we may expect, not only as we make transition, but as our life continues in theSoul Place, our True Home!

MicheleAbout the Author:
Michele A. Livingston is an internationally known visionary, psychic medium and gifted artist. With a master’s degree in art education, she taught art in public schools and later displayed her work in her own art gallery. Clairvoyant from an early age, she has the incredible ability to see and communicate with angels, departed loved ones and spirit guides.

She is known at the ‘People’s Medium’ from her popular guest appearances on ‘The People’s Morning Show’ on 105.7 FM, The X. She has also donated her time during their ‘Pay-4-Play’ radio-thon for Children’s Miracle Network for the past several years doing phone readings for interested listeners.

In 1993, Mary, the Blessed Mother, appeared to Michele-which astounded the author because she was not raised Catholic. Mary entreated her to paint 12 different images of Mary’s divine feminine energy. This event changed the author’s life and is chronicled in her first book, Visions from Mary. A similar spiritual and artistic encounter with Red Cloud, the departed chief of the Lakota Sioux Indians, became the subject of her second book, Echoes in the Wind. Her third book, Miraculous Encounters, True Stories of Experiences with Angels and Departed Loved Ones, is a compilation of over 100 inspirational stories of spiritual encounters by ordinary people. Her fourth book, The True Nature of Love, Awakening to the Christ Consciousness, contains inspirational prayers on a variety of subjects with a central theme “love is the key to soul progression.”

Her book, Messages from Beyond: A Spiritual Guidebook, is an updated and revised version of her most popular book. It is filled with positive affirmations along with information about conscious manifestation, advancement of the spiritual journey and other metaphysical concepts. Michele has touched thousands of people-one-on-one and in seminars-with messages and actual visions of their departed loved ones. She has hosted her own radio talk show and has made numerous appearances on radio including Hay House Radio and TV on Fox News, ABC and Comcast CN8. As a healer, counselor, columnist and ordained minister, she continues to bring messages and soul-healing stories to people all over the world and assists people in taking that “next step” in consciousness to become closer to the Creator.

Michele is available for radio and TV interviews, seminars, group sessions, phone and in-person consultations. For information please visit her website at: http://www.michelelivingston.com, or call (717) 737-3888.

Mark Singel recalls the fast-paced events of 1993 in new memoir

HARRISBURG, Pa.  — Sunbury Press has released A Year of Change and Consequences, former acting Governor Mark SIngel’s recollection of the events of 1993.

msayocac_fcAbout the Book:
Mark Singel, a Johnstown native and Penn State graduate, won election as Lieutenant Governor in 1986 as Robert Casey’s running mate. In 1993, Governor Casey was stricken with Appalachian familial amyloidosis, a rare and usually fatal liver disorder. The governor required a multiple organ transplant, which was still experimental at that time. While the governor was incapacitated and recovering, Mark Singel became the acting Governor of Pennsylvania. This book is Mark Singel’s recollection of the events that year.

About the Author:
Mark Singel served as Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania from 1987 through 1995 and, for a period of time, Acting Governor of the Commonwealth. The only person in Pennsylvania history to serve an extended time as Acting Governor, Singel received high marks for his stewardship. He led the state by enacting the first modern workers’ compensation reform package, refinanced the state’s park system through the “Key 93” program, and helped launch the high-tech era with landmark telecommunications legislation. He was also instrumental in reducing state and local taxes, the implementation of a statewide 911 emergency phone system, and the creation of thousands of new jobs in recycling and environmental technologies. He was the original author of the state’s mortgage assistance bill that has saved 50,000 Pennsylvania homes.

Prior to his terms as Lieutenant Governor, Singel served six years in the Pennsylvania State Senate and was chief of staff to two members of the U.S. Congress.

Singel ran for U.S. Senate in 1992 and for Governor in 1994. He served as Chairman of the Pennsylvania Democratic Party from 1995-1998 and was the President of Pennsylvania’s Electoral College in January, 1997. He was a delegate to the Democratic National Convention five times from 1992 through 2016.

55Singel founded The Winter Group in February, 2005 and has developed it into one of the most effective and prestigious government relations firms in the state. He continues to provide consulting services to clients in retail, hospitality and gaming, manufacturing, technology, energy, non-profits, and health care fields. Recent successes include a ban on public smoking, legislation to address child sexual abuse, and consumer protection in health care settings.

Singel served as Chair of Pennsylvanians for Judicial Reform which was instrumental in bringing talented, progressive jurists to the state’s Supreme Court.

Singel has served in various capacities with Pennsylvania’s governors and decision-makers and maintains strong personal and political ties with leaders at all levels today.

A magna cum laude graduate of Penn State, Singel continues to teach at the Harrisburg campus and other universities. He has served on the Boards of Penn State and St. Francis Universities and holds several honorary doctorate degrees. Singel is currently active with Harrisburg University and is a regular commentator on local and statewide political broadcast programs. He is a sought-after speaker at both political and academic events and is active in numerous community and philanthropic activities.

Singel has been married to Jacqueline for 40 years and has three children: Allyson, Jonathan, and Christopher. He has three grandchildren: Thomas, Felicity, and Henry Boots.

Religion, technology, and metaphysics merge in OneWay: The Oracle

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. — Sunbury Press has released OneWay: The Oracle, the second novel by Robin McClellan, in partnership with debut author Ruth Marie Oakes Watson.

owto_fcAbout the Book:
Is time as linear as it seems to be?
How far has technology advanced without the public knowing about it?
What are the true limits of consciousness?

It has been a couple of months since Angela had her last paranormal experience. In fact, her life has become routine again-comfortable again-especially with the peace of her Grandmother Iana’s presence. But little does she know, when she opens her grandmother’s Bible one fateful March morning, her life again will be thrown into amazing, enchanting, and dreadful disarray.

Angela’s visions are back, and they’re taking her places she never dreamed she’d go. Murders, terrorism, and tampered spirituality are building up against her, and she’ll need all the strength she can get from the love of her family and friends if she wants to get out alive-and perhaps even save the world in the process.

Excerpt:
Angela awoke that day as she did most others: to the smell of freshly brewed coffee. Still in bed, she smiled to herself, completely contented by thoughts of what had happened two months previously. Faith could breathe more easily now; she finally knew that her mother had loved her, and thanks to her grandfather’s copper penny, she was more financially secure than Angela imagined she’d ever been. “I wonder what she’s doing now,” Angela thought to herself with a smile.

Then, rising from bed, she walked over to the window and peered outside. The morning was just being born, and the stars were just starting to hide themselves behind the sun’s rays. As she took in the scenery, thoughts of her grandmother Iana pushed against her temples and buried themselves in her mind. “You must be near . . . I can feel you,” she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Spinning around, she faced the dresser and stared at her grandmother’s Bible, which sat atop it, abruptly wondering to herself if any additional clues about Iana’s life were hiding in the lines of her illustrations.

Then Angela tightened the belt of her robe, approached the dresser, and picked up the Bible. She pressed her left hand against its leather cover and rubbed it slowly, thinking that maybe, just maybe, there were answers right beneath her fingertips.

After opening the book, she idly flipped through its pages until she made her way to the back-to the page she’d unsealed to find Maggie’s treasure. To be honest, she hadn’t perused the Bible all that much since January, and it felt new and almost revitalizing to revisit the book-and what it was capable of-after having had time to recover from the first adventure it led her on.

As Angela turned the unsealed page, she found that there was another page behind it, folded over from right to left and sealed toward the spine. And the current day’s date, March 17, 2006, declared itself above the fold in old ink. “It should be safe to open now,” Angela thought to herself, in awe of her splendid timing. So, nervously, she cracked the red seal, peeled the wax away from the page, opened the fold from left to right, and revealed a drawing of a winged insect.

Below the drawing a Bible passage from Exodus was written.

Exodus 10:12: And the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over Egypt so that locusts swarm over the land and devour everything growing in the fields, everything left by the hail.”

Puzzled and somewhat disturbed, Angela rubbed her index and middle fingers over the image. “This isn’t a locust,” she thought. “It’s a dragonfly.”

About the Authors:
Robin McClellan was born and raised in a small town outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Growing up in the world of science fiction and spirituality, at a young age he studied the Bible, meditation, lucid dreaming, self-hypnosis, and time travel. As Robin got older he turned his attention to the world of quantum physics, specifically subatomic particles and how they seem to co-exist with spirituality. Robin is a self-made musician, inventor, and an IT professional of over 30 years. Robin is a father, a son, a brother, and a lover of life. Robin is also the co-author of OneWay vol. 1 “The Message.”

Ruth Marie Oakes Watson grew up surrounded by a loving family in central Pennsylvania. As she explored the world around her, she became enraptured by spirituality and philosophy, both of which have their foundation in love. In her writing, she wants to explore the themes common to all of us and to find the connection we all share. She is a giraffe-lover, a wannabe dragon-rider, a dreamer, a musician, and a wife.

Carl Scheib to appear in Gratz

Gratz, PA — Former major league pitcher Carl Scheib, who is the youngest player in American League history, having taken the mound for Connie Mack’s Philadelphia A’s in 1943 at the age of 16, will be at the Gratz Community Center July 7th, 2016 at 7 PM. Carl’s biographer, Lawrence Knorr, will present his latest book Wonder Boy – The Story of Carl Scheib: The Youngest Player in American League History. Lawrence and Carl will then answer questions and sign copies of the book which will be for sale through the Gratz Historical Society. Carl will then donate some of his memorabilia to the Gratz Historical Society Museum.

ABOUT THE BOOK

wb_fcCarl Scheib, from Gratz, PA, was a young farm boy of 16 who was signed to a major league contract by Connie Mack of the Philadelphia Athletics. Carl enjoyed 11 years in the major leagues, interrupted by his service in World War II. When he made his first appearance in 1943, he was the youngest player in modern major league history. The following season, Joe Nuxhall of the National League’s Cincinnati Reds, pitched 2/3 of an inning at age 15, breaking Carl’s major league record, but Carl retained his American League record.

Known as a good-hitting pitcher, Carl hit .396 in 1951 and .298 in 1948. He hit five home runs in his career, including a grand slam.

As a pitcher, Carl was a key hurler on the 1948 Philadelphia Athletics, going 14-8 during a tight pennant race. He also went 11-7 in 1952, and saved 11 games in 1951. Behind his “pitch- to-contact” approach, the A’s set the all-time record for double plays in a season with 217 in 1949, a record that still stands.

Wonder Boy chronicles the rapid rise of Carl Scheib from his high school days at Gratz and his contributions to Dalmatia in the West Branch League, to his subsequent major league career, facing such players as Joe DiMaggio, Bill Dickey, Ted Williams, Yogi Berra, Bobby Doerr, Satchel Paige, Bob Lemon, Larry Doby, Bob Feller, Luke Appling, Early Wynn, Mickey Mantle and many more.
